About Cancer Support Community Colorado

CSC and its affiliate network have significant experience and results helping people learn to actively cope with cancer, take responsibility and control of their care, and make desired lifestyle changes to improve their emotional and physical well-being. Programs are informed by research on oncology and socio-emotional wellness, to meet our commitment to provide the most effective evidence-based programs of psychosocial support for people affected by cancer. CSC Colorado offers programs developed by CSC nationally, and creates custom programs in response to local requests.

Cancer Support Community Colorado is the only cancer-related nonprofit organization in the Denver area that includes all of these:

  • Programs for people affected by any type of cancer, throughout the cancer continuum, from diagnosis through bereavement
  • Programs that seek to integrate psychosocial support with medical care
  • Services for people with cancer, survivors, caregivers, family and friends
  • Programs offered at no charge to the participants
