Monthly Gentle Yoga
Five (5) consecutive Saturdays - March 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31, 2012
10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
This class is open to people with cancer, survivors, and their family members 18 years and older. It will offer gentle movement to improve the way you feel, mentally and physically. No prior yoga experience is necessary. There is no charge for this class.

Art Therapy Group for People Impacted by Cancer
Six (6) Thursday Evenings – March 8, 15, 22, 29 and April 5, 12, 2012
5:30 – 7:00 p.m.
An art therapist will help participants understand and explore their emotions
and concerns related to cancer. This group will provide a safe space to connect
with others and help to increase coping strategies by using art and art
expression. This group is for adults impacted by any type of cancer diagnosis
and at any stage in their treatment or survivorship. Artistic talent is not
required to obtain the benefits.

Writing Through Cancer
This four week expressive writing group will help you discover the benefits of
putting pen to paper. Much research has been done to show that writing can clear
the head and heart when under stress; and even if you’re not stressed, it’s fun
and invigorating to express yourself through writing. This group is open to
people with cancer, survivors and their caregivers and family members. If you

Cancer Transitions™
Cancer Transitions™ is a free 2½-hour, six-week workshop designed to help cancer survivors make the transition from active treatment to post-treatment care. Expert panelists including physicians, nutritionists and fitness experts will discuss exercise tailored to each participant’s abilities, training in relaxation and stress management and tips for nutritious eating. Cancer Transitions will answer many of your questions about cancer survivorship post-cancer treatment. This course is open to cancer survivors who have completed active treatment within the last 0 - 24 months.
The course covers the following topics:

- Session 2: Exercise for Wellness: Customized Exercise

An Introduction to Guided Meditation and Visualization
Meditation and visualization may improve your quality of life by reducing
stress, promoting relaxation, enhancing your immune system and empowering you to
